Professeur d'Anglais à Paris 1er.
An American living in Paris, I have been teaching English to a diverse group of individuals for over three years. My students have ranged from children to working professionals, both online and in-person. I adapt my style and course content based on individual needs. The majority of my classes follow topical, discussion-based activities. I then incorporate necessary grammar exercises when needed. Why discussion based, you might ask? Well, having the confidence to speak a foreign language is half of the battle. We can study grammar on our own, and vocabulary comes through exposure (media, literature, etc.) - I find that many of my students lack concrete opportunities to speak and express themselves. This is where I can help.
Some students are interested in increasing their proficiency in a business professional context while others simply want to feel more comfortable traveling abroad. Former and current students have been from the following industries: real estate, fashion, marketing and advertising, medicine, etc.
A bit about me:
I am currently completing a Master in Public Health. I have professional experience in clinical medicine, pre-clinical research, and crisis mental health care. I also am a freelance travel writer. When I'm not teaching or studying, I enjoy living an active lifestyle, the arts, and culture.
